It all began when I turned 15 in between failing math classes and reading the crime section of the local news in Guanajuato, the small town in Mexico where I grew up.

As crime began to rise I began to daydream about what it would be like to live a safer life in the US and to leave my small-town life behind.
When the stars finally aligned and I saved enough money to move to Boston, I wasn’t sure I wanted to be a journalist however the more I tried to stay away from journalism, the more exhausting it was eventually I gave in (thank god).
I've become a reporter, a news writer and hope to be the author of many books about politics, feminism, gender and social issues.
